The MAA Center is an online resource for those who have been exposed to asbestos and people looking to learn more about it. As nearly one-third of those diagnosed with asbestos-related illnesses are veterans, it's important for those who have served to be aware of the symptoms and warning signs. Symptoms can take up to 50 years following exposure to surface, so taking the time to learn now could be life-saving down the line. Brave Hearts Estate is a 501©3 in Pellston, Michigan, we are a retreat for veterans and their families. Brave Hearts Estate was donated to Operation Injured Soldiers, a Michigan based 501©3 on the premise that veterans and their families will be able to enjoy staying at the estate at no cost to them. We began this journey in 2005 to help change the lives of our disabled veterans and give something back to those who have sacrificed so much for us. Our mission at Brave Hearts is to bring families together with other veteran families for camaraderie and healing. We have seen incredible changes in the quality of the veterans lives who have participated and experienced our program. The estate has 7 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 23 guests per weekend. There are also 3 cabins and 3 R.V. pads. Breakfast, snacks and dinner are served to all guests. Our goal is to thank these heroes for their sacrifices with a well-deserved break. All this is possible due to the generosity of donations from individuals and corporate donors, grants and fundraising.

MISSION: To provide veterans with sustainable solutions while promoting a safer, healthier, and prosperous civilian lifestyle.

VETLIFE offers a variety of resources, programs, and events to veterans and their families all at no cost.

VETLIFE is a nonprofit organization formed by veteran families for veteran families. The organization was born out of our own struggles after leaving the military. We became painfully aware of so many other veterans who were facing the same struggles. The large number of veterans unaware of benefits and the rising number of veteran suicides really bothered us, so we formed a nonprofit organization with the purpose of promoting a safer, healthier, and prosperous civilian lifestyle. This is how the name "VETLIFE" came to fruition. VETLIFE is about living your best life after the military. We provide veterans with a network of sustainable solutions and resources to improve the quality of civilian life. Our events are completely free to veteran families and promote a sense of camaraderie among other veterans while also providing valuable veteran specific resources. We pride ourselves on being attentive to any and all veteran needs.
