The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary is featuring the artwork of Nancy Lundberg Vigeant now through early June.

TORRINGTON — The Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Auxiliary is featuring the artwork of Nancy Lundberg Vigeant now through early June in the hospital’s main lobby hallway, 540 Litchfield Street, Torrington.

The public is invited to view and buy the works through the Charlotte Gift Shop as part of the Auxiliary’s ongoing “Artist of the Month” program. Proceeds from sales of the artwork support the CHH Auxiliary and Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

A self-taught artist, Vigeant works in oils on canvas, and says she enjoys capturing historical buildings in the local area, scenic natural settings, farm animals and still life compositions she creates using flowers and items found in her home.

Vigeant said she had to stop painting for a couple of years due to advanced cataracts, but she had surgery and is back at the easel. Her artwork is available in fine art prints on canvas or fine art paper. The art on display at CHH are fine art prints.
