(July 13, 2022 3:59 PM) In keeping with its summer reading program – Oceans of Possibilities – students in the teen painting class at the Jackson District Library Meijer Branch painted fish.
Some starfish, goldfish, and Nemo look-a-likes were popular during the hour-long class on Wednesday.
More than a dozen students between the ages of 11 to 18 participated in the program.
Rene Wheaten from the Jackson School of the Arts took students step-by-step using a black easel, many different colors of paint, chalk, and some cleaning supplies to create the mini paintings.
