Kids need a place to scribble, and parents generally prefer that place be somewhere other than the sofa or the walls. These pint-size easels are the ideal way to draw out budding artists.
Easel Does It from the Land of Nod
With a green chalkboard on one side and a white laminated dry-erase board on the other, this espresso-stained wood art hub comes with plenty of bells and whistles. It can accommodate a roll of paper and comes with holes for stashing paint cups as well as trays for chalk, markers, crayons and brushes (sold separately). It measures 30 inches wide, 23 1/2 inches deep and 51 inches high, and collapses for storage.
This low-cost option from Ikea won't dampen the creativity of kids at work. Little hands can switch from the chalkboard to the whiteboard. A wide tray stows supplies and a bar holds a roll of paper (sold separately). This version, which folds up easily, measures 24 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 46 inches high.
