The Iowa State Fair made a big announcement today about its grandstand lineup. The August fair will bring in a pop artist and a rock band.

An announcement today from the fair says that Demi Lovato will perform on the grandstand on Sunday, August 14 at 8:00 p.m. Demi has done a lot since the Camp Rock, Disney Channel days, having released 2 No. 1 singles: "Anyone" and "I Love Me" in 2020.

Later in the week, the rock band Disturbed will be on the grandstand on August 19, at 8:00 p.m. Chevelle will join Disturbed for their first appearance on the Iowa State Fair grandstand.

Ready to go? You can already get tickets for the other grandstand shows if you would like. The grandstand lineup this year features multiple genres of music, including appearances by Skillet with Dante Bowe, Brooks & Dunn with Alex Miller, Nelly and Ginuwine, comedian John Crist with friends and Dusty Slay, Kane Brown with Jessie James Decker, Keith Urban with Ingrid Andress, and Carrie Underwood with Adam Sanders. You'll have plenty of time to make it out there, as shows will be from August 11-August 21.

The Iowa State Fair is the largest single event in the state and will be in Des Moines. Of course, there will be rides, attractions, a flea market, delicious fair food, and more.
