LEGO continues to release unique sets that adapt so many aspects of culture to the brick form.
After recently launching a botanical collection and even announcing a 3D spinning globe, LEGO's latest release is a 3D recreation of Vincent van Gogh's most famous painting, The Starry Night.
This oil painting is currently on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

LEGO's version takes a very unique approach by giving the painting replica three-dimensional sections – so the vivid colours jump off the easel.
Also featured in this set is a minifigure of van Gogh himself, with an adjustable arm that can be positioned to make it look like he's painting on his own mini-easel.
LEGO's Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night has been designed for the adult collector 18 years old and up because it will take some skill to match the bricks in the same distinctive brush style of the original.

When it is fully built, the 2,316-piece replica painting stands at over 28cm tall, as well as 38cm wide and 12cm deep. If you're intimidated at all by the scope of this set, rest assured it comes with detailed instructions.
If you're interested in picking up LEGO's Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night, you can place a pre-order by clicking here for £149.99. The product is expected to ship on June 1, 2022.
Vincent van Gogh painted The Starry Night in 1899 while staring out the window of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in Southern France. Like most of his work, it'd only be fully appreciated after his tragic death.
It would go on display at the Museum of Modern Art in 1941 and has become a fixture of the museum's prized collection ever since.
