Montgomeryshire based art group Celf-Able has organised a resource-filled space for local artists to work on their projects in Newtown.

Anyone who wants to make or work on their art but can’t find the space, resources or equipment to do so can find all that and more at Celf Able’s Art Corner, which offers a dedicated art space with table and easels, and art equipment and materials.

Celf Able will let anyone who uses the space take their work with them at the end of the session.

The Art Corner is now open to book at Newtown Focus Enterprise Hub, located on the third floor of the Pryce Jones building.

Celf Able’s Art Corner has received £4,904 from the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund.

The UK Community Renewal Fund is a UK Government programme for 2021 and 2022, which aims to support people and communities most in need across the UK to pilot programmes and new approaches to prepare for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

It invests in skills, community and place, local business, and supporting people into employment.

The space costs £10 per person per hour, and can be booked by ringing 01686 806349.
